I was drawn to becoming a therapist as I place great value on honest communication and connection. It is a tremendous privilege to be allowed a glimpse inside of someone's internal world and I treat this privilege with the utmost respect.
As a therapist, I believe that mental health difficulties can serve as a natural starting point for longer-term growth. My intention is to create a space for you to develop a curious and non judgmental stance towards your internal world. Wise and effective paths towards recovery tend to emerge from those places. I also believe that mental health is related to the larger questions in life, such as purpose and meaning. Throughout our sessions, we will work together to uncover what brings you purpose and fulfilment in life. |
Professional background
As a practitioner psychologist, I am trained in multiple models of psychological therapy, which enables me to draw on different approaches to help my clients overcome their problems and achieve their goals.
My private practice has been running since 2016, wherein I have supported a wide range of clients overcome their different struggles. Prior to moving into the private sector, I held posts in various NHS settings from 2011 through to 2021, offering assessment and interventions to individuals and families experiencing complex mental health difficulties.
I am registered and accredited with both of the main governing bodies of the profession in the UK: the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).

THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I further draw upon Attachment Theory and Systemic Approaches to help understand the wider context around a person’s difficulties. I therefore offer an adaptable and integrative therapeutic framework to best meet an individual’s needs.
